Alongside the Pixel 4a 5G edition, Google Pixel 5 has already been confirmed to launch in the autumn. The tech giant had posted a brief glimpse of the side of the phone in the Pixel 4a launch blog post, showing off the edges and the button position, but aside from that nothing else is known about the Pixel 5. Yet a fresh leak now gives us a glimpse of the Pixel 5 from all sides. The leaked renders indicate the Pixel 5 could come with a front-up hole-punch screen and a dual rear camera setup at the back.
Pricebaba has released the reported high quality renders of the forthcoming Pixel 5, in association with OnLeaks. The renders indicate the phone might have a hole-punch display with the cutout located at the top left corner – much like the one seen on Pixel 4a. At the back, it's confirmed that the Pixel 5 comes with dual rear cameras mounted within a square module. This module is mounted in the rear panel's top left corner. A flash and another unknown sensor accompany the two image sensors, and the technical specifics of the camera configuration are not yet understood.
Surprisingly, the leaked renders of the Pixel 5 show that the phone might have a rear fingerprint sensor, not an in-display one. The Pixel 5 also features a special glittery back panel finish, while the volume and power buttons are seen on the right spine. The USB Type-C port and the speaker grilles are spotted at the bottom side, while the SIM tray slot sits at the device's left edge.
Pixel 5 will have a 5.7 to 5.8-inch display, and measure 144.7x70.4x8.1 mm (8.5 mm with the bump), according to the Pricebaba article. Tipster Roland Quandt has stated separately that the Pixel 5 will come with 128 GB of storage. Quandt says this time around, there will be no 64 GB base storage standard. "If the variants are of 64 GB, I haven't seen them," Quandt wrote.
A recent report indicated that the Pixel 5 could launch on September 30 along with the Pixel 4a 5G. It's also confirmed that the Snapdragon 765 G SoC will be featured by the Pixel 5.
