Moto E7 Plus specs leak: Snapdragon 460 SoC with 5000 mAh battery

Motorola is expected to introduce another budget-segment device soon.. It is rumored that the smartphone manufacturer will place the Motorola E7 Plus on the market. The presence of the Moto E7 has been confirmed by many leaks and rumours and now the latest piece of news says the smartphone will come with a Snapdragon 460 chipset. If the story turns out to be true, interestingly, the Moto E7 Plus will be the first smartphone to house a Snapdragon 460 SoC.

Noted tipster Evan Blass took to Twitter to share some of Motorola 's upcoming device 's main specifications. He has tweeted a picture featuring the Moto e7 Plus specifications. The picture shows that a 5000mAh battery and an octa-core processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage will feature in the Moto E7 Plus. He also revealed a dual 48-megapixel camera could feature in the phone.

Previously, the Moto E7 Plus had featured on Geekbench and scored 1,152 points in single-core tests and 4373 points in multi-core testing. The single-core test verifies how quickly the processor can complete the tasks. Therefore the quicker the processor would complete a mission, the higher the Geekbench single-core score will be. Similarly the workload running on a single-core processor would also run on the multi-core processor. A lower score means that application performance may be lower for the device.

Past leaks have shown the device may be running on Android 10. In the photos that were leaked earlier, one can recognize that a waterdrop notch with thin bezels will appear on the Moto E7 Plus. There's nothing new about the style as we've seen it on a couple of Motorola phones before.

The Moto E7 Plus features a dual-rear camera with an LED flash and also emblazoned the company logo on the device's rear panel. Also though the Moto E7 Plus reports housing a Snapdragon 460 chipset had also surfaced earlier, some sources had also suggested that the smartphone could be a rebranded G9 Play.

A few weeks ago even the Moto G9 Play appeared on Geekbench. The listing revealed that a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series chipset will appear in the Moto G9 Play which is rumored to be combined with a great 4 GB of RAM. The new Android 10 software is expected to be featured in it. The Moto G9 Play will also feature a 6.2-inch display as for the screen size.
